Mr. Gary Gao's areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, private equity funds, foreign direct investment, construction, and commercial arbitration and litigation. The clients he has served include the world's biggest cosmetics manufacturer, a US based Fortune 500 industrial enterprise, the biggest pharmaceutical company in Italy, the biggest health care products company in Singapore, a Middle East based five-star airline company, the biggest airline company in South America and the biggest architectural firm in Japan.
Gary has provided a full range of legal services for the mergers and acquisitions of Chinese companies by dozens of multinational corporations. He has also assisted a number of multinational corporations in incorporating their joint ventures or wholly foreign owned enterprises in China. In the past several years, Gary has provided a variety of legal services for several private equity funds and offered legal advice on their formation and operation. He has acted as long-term legal counsel to several pharmaceutical companies and is conversant with the practices and operation models of pharmaceutical companies in China. He has provided legal services for four airlines from the Middle East and South America in respect of their entry into China's market and acted as long-term legal counsel to these airlines. He has also successfully represented these airlines in a number of cases concerning international air transport disputes. Since he was engaged in the practice of law, he has represented a large number of arbitration cases before major PRC commercial arbitration institutions with which arbitration is conducted in Chinese or English languages.
